Formula

Semester GPA = quality points this term ÷ credit hours this term

Example: English A (4.0 × 3 cr = 12 QP) and Math B (3.0 × 3 cr = 9 QP) → 21 ÷ 6 = 3.50 semester GPA. On India 10-point, O/A+/A map to 10/9/8 points the same way. Letter cut-offs use the unrounded result.
